Position Overview
The Accounting Clerk, under the guidance of the Accounting Manager and Junior Staff Accountant, will play a vital role in supporting various accounting functions directly related to accounts receivable. This position combines data entry and clerical responsibilities while providing exposure to all facets of accounts receivable, fostering growth in accounting knowledge and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support accounts receivable operations, including preparing billing based on information from the general ledger and hour reports.
- Record cash receipts accurately.
- Effectively utilize bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets, and financial software.
- Assist in generating supporting documentation for accounts receivable billing.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in billing and payment processing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage 50 Cloud and Concur is preferred.
Additional Duties and Requirements:
- Manage and record cash receipts efficiently.
- Process monthly fee-for-service invoices.
- Ensure adherence to CCLB policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting salary ranges from $48,817.60 to $58,572.80, based on experience and education.
