Quality Assurance and Compliance Analyst

We are in search of a dedicated Quality Assurance and Compliance Analyst to uphold the highest standards of quality for our esteemed global furniture and home goods brand. This pivotal role is essential in ensuring compliance throughout our supply chain, from raw materials to finished products, in accordance with the rigorous standards set by our valued retail partner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Client Account CONNECT System:
- Act as the primary contact for overseeing a Priority Client's CONNECT system, a comprehensive database for maintaining all product, component, and material test records, certificates, self-declarations, and inspection documents.
- Address requests for test results promptly, within a 24-hour timeframe.
- Ensuring Compliance:
- Verify that the entire supply chain, encompassing incoming materials, components, finished products, and processes, adheres to customer product documentation.
- Conduct risk evaluations on new materials and products, utilizing PFMEA and DFMEA to formulate control plans.
- Analysis and Communication of Test Reports:
- Examine test reports from third-party laboratories.
- Facilitate communication among various testing laboratories, which includes:
- Chemical testing of materials
- Physical testing of materials
- TVOC testing of finished goods
- FR testing of finished goods
- Durability, impact, and safety testing of finished goods
- Communication with Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with the client's business and compliance teams to ensure complete adherence to client standards.
Additional Duties:
- Assist Customer Quality Specialist in:
- Supplier Quality Control (SQC)
- Incoming Material Quality Control (IQC)
- Final Inspection processes
- Management of CASY System:
- Oversee tasks related to the customer account's claims system, which includes:
- SQR (Store Quality Report)
- Investigations from customer account Distribution Centers (DC)
- Management of product and service claims

Skills & Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical ability for interpreting test reports and conducting risk assessments.
- Proficiency in utilizing quality management systems and databases.
Preferred Experience: 1-5 years
Educational Background:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience in quality assurance, compliance, or related fields is advantageous.
- Familiarity with PFMEA, DFMEA, and other quality management methodologies.
