PrideStaff is in search of a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Operations Supervisor to enhance our team.

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will be tasked with managing a small group of 4-5 associates, ensuring that warehouse functions are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide a team of 4-5 warehouse associates, offering training and support to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Utilize both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to transport, stack, and arrange products within the warehouse.
  • Manage incoming shipments, verifying their accuracy, completeness, and quality upon receipt.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on both incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Lead a small team in case picking and each picking order fulfillment, ensuring precise and efficient processing of customer orders. Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as inventory management and shipping, to guarantee accurate inventory control and timely order processing.
  • Employ warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology to monitor inventory and execute necessary transactions.
  • Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to uphold inventory accuracy.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on warehouse operations, including productivity metrics, inventory status, and any issues or concerns.
  • Train new team members on warehouse procedures, safety measures, and equipment handling.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Certification for operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
  • Demonstrated experience in receiving shipments, conducting quality assurance checks, and fulfilling orders.
  • Experience in leading a small team of warehouse associates. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning software is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory oversight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport heavy items, up to 50 pounds. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or weekends.
