Key Responsibilities:
The Quality Engineer will be tasked with managing daily quality functions, including:
  • Overseeing containment processes and inspection sort gates
  • Conducting rework and incoming inspection of parts
  • Assisting various engineering personnel with quality-related requests
  • Ensuring quality standards are upheld across all operations
  • Performing essential Level II tasks as required

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality role
  • Strong mathematical skills for applied statistics
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, charts, and graphs
  • Proficient in computer software, including databases and spreadsheets
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Familiarity with TS16949 and ISO14001 standards

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience

Essential Functions:
  • Provide feedback to team members and management to identify root causes and enhance process performance
  • Report internal non-conformances regularly
  • Compile statistical summaries for shipments
  • Conduct training for operators on part inspection
  • Ensure compliance with material certification
  • Perform audits and inspections of ongoing products
  • Assist with various quality-related tasks as assigned
