Automation Software Developer

Quanta Computer Nashville LLC is a leading technology organization seeking a skilled Automation Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining computer software systems that support our cloud computing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop computer software systems, including the creation of flowcharts and other documentation to identify requirements and propose solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and other staff, to ensure that software designs are feasible under cost and time constraints.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform testing and quality assurance on NI vision/Robot software systems, with a focus on procedures and programming.
- Customer Support: Communicate with customers and clients to establish maintenance procedures for software systems.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automated manufacturing, with a preference for visual software experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in PC skills, including Windows, MS Work, MS Excel, MS Access, AutoCAD, or related software.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Strong problem-solving ability, creative thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision, with a strong team player attitude and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Prolonged Sitting and Lifting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, with occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
