Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Personnel Security Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations and analyzing complex data to ensure the security and integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth investigations into security clearances and personnel security matters
  • Analyze complex data and information to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement effective security protocols and procedures to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management
Requirements
  • Active Top Secret US Government Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience or Associate's Degree with 7+ years of experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing and writing Reports of Investigation
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office software applications and use of Internet for research
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of DOJ and FBI regulations regarding personnel security process
  • Experience conducting interviews and security briefings
  • Thorough knowledge of indices systems, record check systems, and file review processes
