Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Background Investigator to join our team at Protection Strategies Inc. As a key member of our personnel security team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough background investigations and providing expert analysis to support the security clearance process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth background investigations to gather and analyze information on individuals seeking security clearances.
  • Develop and implement effective investigation strategies to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of investigation results into the security clearance process.
  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations to support security clearance decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines related to personnel security and background investigations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in personnel security, background investigations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of conducting thorough and accurate background investigations.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Top-Secret security clearance and SCI access required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field, such as criminology, law, or security studies.
  • Experience working with sensitive and classified information.
  • Knowledge of FBI Security Program and its procedures.
