Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Inc. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective responses to member inquiries, resolving issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Document and research member inquiries, providing accurate and concise information to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Utilize knowledge of health insurance products and services to provide members with informed and personalized support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to members.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and products.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare or insurance setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide creative solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
