About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Service Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, processing transactions, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Transactions: Accurately process all transactions, maintaining proper security and exercising good judgment.
  • Member Account Management: Open and close member accounts, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding service, problem resolution, and needs-based selling to our members.
  • Relationship Building: Build and retain member relationships through service quality, creating a positive member experience every time.
  • Job-Related Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our team.

Requirements:

  • Cash Handling Experience: Desired, but not required.
  • Customer Service or Retail Experience: Preferred, but not necessary.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task are required.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to recognize and resolve member issues promptly, using courtesy and tact.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
