Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Engagement: Provide a positive and welcoming experience for all members, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Membership Administration: Process membership applications, renewals, and cancellations, as well as handle membership-related inquiries and issues.
  • Program Registration: Register members for programs and services, including fitness classes, sports leagues, and other activities.
  • Customer Service: Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions, including membership status, program registrations, and payment history.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least one year of customer service experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Certifications: CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
Working Conditions

The Member Service Representative will work in a fast-paced front desk environment, interacting with members and staff on a regular basis. The position requires the ability to sit and stand for extended periods, as well as bend and stoop frequently. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
