Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Lead to join our team at Chico's FAS. As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for promoting a customer-focused sales culture and driving sales growth in our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive for Results
    • Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for achieving sales and performance standards.
    • Perform and oversee operational activities such as opening and closing duties, and merchandise flow processes.
    • Supervise sales associates and ensure they are knowledgeable about products and promotions.
    • Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, and loss prevention.
  • Build High Performing Teams
    • Motivate and inspire store team members to meet sales and productivity goals.
    • Develop a high-performance culture and promote a shared vision.
    • Communicate effectively with store teams and management to lead positive change.
  • Customer Experience
    • Model and promote exceptional customer service standards.
    • Recommend merchandise selections and help customers locate or obtain merchandise.
    • Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Talent
    • Support and implement training programs and seminars.
    • Assist in the development of store associates and provide feedback to management.
    • Drive associate and team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
