About the Role

This strategic HR Business Partner Lead position offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our organization. Reporting directly to the Executive Leadership Team member and collaborating closely with Vice Presidents, you will play a pivotal role in developing organizational/HR strategies that drive business results for long-term, high-priority initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Executive Leadership Team members and departmental Vice Presidents to develop comprehensive organizational/HR strategies, focusing on key areas such as workforce planning, talent management, and performance optimization.
  • Lead by example, leveraging your expertise as a trusted advisor to provide guidance on strategic consultation, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless execution of HR programs and processes, aligning them with the organization's overall strategy.
  • Develop, motivate, and lead a team of HR Consultants or AD HRBPs, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in human resources, including a Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Motivational leader capable of working effectively in a team environment, driving success while developing talent.
  • Experience in workforce planning, change management, organizational design, talent management, performance management, and strategic operational planning.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to the organization's strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business leaders to develop, implement, and sustain HR programs that drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent consultative, interpersonal/influencing skills, including the ability to build rapport, coach, and influence at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of compensation management, diversity and inclusion, employee communications, engagement strategies, financial management, human resource information systems (HRIS), labor regulations, new hire onboarding, organizational design, performance management, succession planning, talent acquisition, talent management, training delivery, and workforce planning.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $133,140.00 - $247,260.00, based on factors such as skills, education, experience, and location-specific costs. At Northwestern Mutual, we strive to recognize and reward individual contributions while maintaining fairness and equity in our compensation practices.

Please note that salaries may vary based on location, and positions in certain locations, such as California, may receive increased compensation due to market conditions.
