About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Senior Talent Strategist and HR Business Partner at Northwestern Mutual. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with leadership teams across multiple departments to develop and implement strategic people plans that drive business outcomes.
Your primary focus will be on co-creating organizational and people strategies that deliver results. You will provide expert consultation and thought leadership to executive leaders and their teams, leveraging data and analytics to inform proactive business and talent solutions.
Main Responsibilities- Partner with Business Leadership Teams to design and execute people strategies that drive business success.
- Provide strategic, trusted consultation and thought leadership to EO/DH and their leadership teams, ensuring solutions align with enterprise people strategies.
- Serve as the quarterback for effective execution of business and talent solutions, collaborating with key partners across HR and the organization.
- Proactively leverage data and analytics to inform business consultation and talent solutions, applying data analysis skills and judgment to accurately interpret findings.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 7-10 years of human resources experience, including a Bachelor's degree in HR or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible work experience.
- Significant experience as a business partner to top leadership teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in business and talent strategy, workforce planning, data and analytics, organizational design, and talent management.
- Engagement in courageous and constructive dialogue, confidence to offer new ideas, ability to deliver complex messages, and help others understand multiple points of view.
