About the Role

The Principal Talent Management Consultant will play a key role in driving the adoption of Workday's Talent Philosophy across the organization. This includes developing and implementing innovative talent management practices, collaborating with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to integrate talent management strategies across the enterprise, and driving the execution of business strategy through the implementation of Workday's Talent Philosophy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the achievement of business strategy through the execution of Workday's Talent Philosophy.
  • Develop and implement talent management practices across the enterprise, including goal setting, performance and potential assessment, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with the Skills-Based Organization team to innovate how skills are integrated into talent management practices.
  • Partner with Workday executives and leaders, People Partners and Consultants, Talent Acquisition, Talent Experience, Belonging and Diversity, and Total Rewards to deliver solutions that are practical, easy to deploy, and consume.
  • Measure the strategy and effectiveness of talent management practices using data and insights, and use data to guide decision-making.
  • Engage with Workday Product Management to influence talent management product features that support talent assessment, development, and deployment.
About You

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic talent management professional with a strong track record of driving business results through talent management practices. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of directly related human resources experience in talent management, organization effectiveness, performance management, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion.
  • At least 2 years of experience in talent management and 5 years of experience in related fields such as HR Business Partner or building and leading talent management practices.
  • Collaborative experience partnering with leaders and HR business partners to create alignment between business strategy, goals, behaviors, and culture to drive performance.
