Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver analytical insights and project management for Expense Accounting functions.
  • Offer guidance and consultation to management on intricate financial matters.
  • Conduct research and respond to various information requests from senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate findings effectively and engage with district personnel through multiple channels.
  • Facilitate expense accounting processes, vendor transactions, and travel reimbursements accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with financial transactions in accordance with established policies.
  • Evaluate the impact of daily financial management on organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze data trends, compile reports, and present findings to leadership.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and monitor transactions to uphold compliance with cost accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of necessary tax forms for vendors and independent contractors.
  • Oversee transactions for compliance with audits and recommend enhancements for quality improvement.
Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of five to eight years in accounting or a related discipline is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI is advantageous.
