Role Overview

The Senior Recruitment Strategist serves as an onsite strategic collaborator with hiring managers and People & Culture Partners for designated Southwire mega sites and client group locations. This position is pivotal in crafting and executing talent acquisition strategies and programs that align with the specific needs of the business unit. The incumbent will oversee all facets of the recruitment process to ensure that staffing requirements are fulfilled, attracting, sourcing, and interviewing top-tier, diverse talent to meet the evolving demands of the business efficiently and effectively. In this capacity, you will be responsible for identifying exceptional talent for both hourly and salaried roles within your assigned geographic area. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the recruitment process, establish trust with candidates and hiring managers, and effectively communicate the Southwire Employee Value Proposition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment for various levels of talent, covering a wide range of exempt and non-exempt positions for Southwire mega site locations.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with candidates, internal stakeholders, and business leaders to address immediate and long-term staffing needs.
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor to organizational leaders, promoting effective collaboration and strategic recruitment to ensure alignment on candidate specifications.
  • Facilitate strategic talent acquisition discussions with hiring managers and People & Culture Business Partners, utilizing internal and external market insights to comprehend staffing needs in line with business objectives.
  • As a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, employ a consultative approach to guide hiring managers and PCBPs on best practices throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Deliver exceptional service in every interaction, demonstrating professionalism and a strong sense of urgency to consistently meet or exceed hiring targets.
  • Implement diverse sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, referrals, social networks, and networking events, to attract both active and passive candidates. Collaborate with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team to develop and execute inclusive recruiting strategies for Southwire positions.
  • Analyze and communicate recruitment performance data to identify trends and insights that support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices in recruitment to ensure Southwire remains competitive in attracting top talent.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to recruit both active and passive candidates.
