We are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our team at Principal Financial Group. As a key member of our Retirement area, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing deep relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and third-party administrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with plan sponsors and advisors to design and implement tailored solutions that meet their business objectives, such as retention, growth, and retirement readiness.
  • Plan Level Health Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of plan health to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required, with 4+ years of retirement industry experience.
  • Licensing and Registration: Must become an associated person of Principal Securities, Inc, and obtain necessary licenses, including FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent leadership, negotiation, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as outstanding interpersonal, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.
