Showroom Marketing and Operations Coordinator Job Overview:
Showroom Display, Visual Merchandising, and Design Aesthetic Management
Responsible for overseeing product collection displays.
Uphold design standards throughout the showroom, ensuring aesthetic and product presentation captivates customer interest.
Maintain all product signage, including launches, new products, and existing displays.
Ensure all furniture and accessories are properly tagged and positioned according to the floor plan.
Implement strategic visual merchandising to enhance client engagement with showroom products.
Ensure the hospitality area of the showroom is well-stocked and organized.
Order necessary supplies and signage for both the showroom and backroom.
Identify and procure additional décor for the showroom as needed.
Assist in managing the regional social media account with posts related to showroom product displays.
Help coordinate in-showroom events.
Sample Product Management
Design and plan product "inspiration packages," create "ring sets," and manage additional sample product curation initiatives.
Process sample product requests for:
  • Showroom clients.
Fulfill and ship client sample product requests from emails or phone orders.
Manage sample product through the appropriate inventory system.
Ensure sample products are organized and current.
Curate sample product boxes for clients.
Share product and design insights with clients to foster product interest and engagement.

Success in this role will be measured by:

Ownership
The showroom space is the responsibility of the Showroom Marketing and Operations Coordinator—from the organization of the Sample Room to the displays on the showroom floor.

It is essential that the Coordinator maintains a keen attention to detail in the showroom.
Proactivity
Proactively seek opportunities for showroom design and display enhancements to ensure the showroom reflects relevant, high-performing products.

Passion for Design
Continuously expand knowledge of interior design—both within the evolving Schumacher product range and the broader competitive landscape and industry.

Creativity
Exhibit innovative design thinking and solutions to inspire clients to engage with the Schumacher brand.
Develop new ideas and initiatives that encourage client interaction with Schumacher products.

High-Quality Customer Service
Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding the company's mission to provide the highest quality products and service standards in the luxury textile market.

Job Requirements for the Showroom Marketing and Operations Coordinator:
Experience in a retail or showroom environment or a design-related degree.

Ability to multitask and remain proactive in a fast-paced setting.
Strong time-management capabilities.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the luxury interior design sector.
Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A positive attitude.
