About the Role

Riggs Distributing, Inc. is a leading luxury appliance distributor seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Luxury Showroom Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our showroom teams and driving sales growth through exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and motivate the showroom team to achieve business goals and objectives.
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Manage and mentor direct reports to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Showroom Operations
    • Oversee all sales activities and culinary events in the showroom, including managing budgets and ensuring that all events meet company standards and policies.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key trade guests, trade associations, and brand partners to drive showroom traffic and sales.
    • Manage and maintain a high level of product knowledge and expertise on Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances.
  • Customer Experience
    • Develop and implement strategies to deliver exceptional customer experiences, including providing educational showroom tours and product demonstrations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including designers, architects, builders, and other trade professionals.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Event Planning and Execution
    • Partner with the Culinary Manager to plan and execute showroom and off-site events, including Supper Clubs, Dealer Trainings, In-Store Demos, Retailer Events, and educational/entertaining events.
    • Develop and implement event best practices and updates to all internal and external stakeholders.
    • Approve event logistics, staffing, timeline, schedules, and budgets.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications to drive awareness and traffic to the Showroom and Culinary Events through networking, promotions, and other marketing outlets.
    • Participate in all tasks related to event preparation and execution, including food handling, event set up, cleaning, setting and clearing tables, and acting as serving staff.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in direct management experience of teams in a retail store or showroom, including sales experience, preferably in the luxury industry.
  • Experience delivering measurable results; tracking data using CRM (NetSuite preferred).
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support events and showroom schedules, including evenings and weekends.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience working with CRM to track data (NetSuite is a plus).
  • Knowledge of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a big plus.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • 4-year college degree is preferred.
