Position Overview

The Landings Club, Inc. is a prestigious private residential community situated on Skidaway Island, committed to fostering an active lifestyle for its members through exceptional amenities. Our club features six championship golf courses, two marinas, numerous tennis and pickleball courts, diverse dining options, and extensive wellness facilities.

Key Responsibilities of the Golf Services Attendant:

  • Engage proactively with members, offering a warm welcome and assisting with their needs while supporting the professional staff with on-course services.
  • Ensure rental golf carts are staged in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Thoroughly clean golf carts after each use.
  • Return any personal items left in golf carts to the designated area.
  • Charge golf carts post-use to maintain operational readiness.
  • Immediately report any damages to golf carts.
  • Rotate golf carts to ensure balanced usage across the fleet.
  • Perform necessary maintenance on carts as required.
  • Keep accurate records of cart maintenance activities.
  • Set up driving range equipment and supply golf balls for all stations.
  • Collect and clean golf balls from the range after use.
  • Retrieve malfunctioning golf carts from the course.
  • Execute all opening and closing procedures, ensuring security of carts and equipment.
  • Adhere to grooming standards set by the department.
  • Be available for various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Follow all departmental and club policies and procedures.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge of golf is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service is advantageous.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Exhibit tact and understanding when addressing a variety of customer service challenges.
  • Capable of managing a diverse workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and allocate resources effectively.
  • Willingness to provide outstanding service to members and demonstrate leadership within the department.
  • Experience or ability to operate a golf cart is necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Majority of the shift involves standing and walking (approximately 80%).
  • Bending and stooping are required for about 10% of the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 50 pounds for a small portion of the shift (approximately 5%).
  • Driving a golf cart constitutes about 90% of the shift.
