Key Responsibilities of the Golf Performance Center Assistant:

  • Support the Golf Performance Center manager in daily operations.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere within the Golf Performance Center.
  • Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, billing for coaching sessions, club fittings, and special events.
  • Welcome and assist members and their guests with their needs.
  • Prepare reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Keep current information regarding all offerings at the Performance Center.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events and programs.
  • Conduct opening and closing procedures for the Golf Performance Center.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone or email.
  • Process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Receive and display merchandise in the golf shop.
  • Input and categorize all invoices accurately.
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained appropriately.
  • Order merchandise as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop.
  • Adhere to all W.E.L.L standards as applicable.
  • Execute job responsibilities in line with company safety and training protocols.
  • Report any safety concerns or job-related injuries to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Qualifications for the Golf Performance Center Assistant:

  • Proficiency in computer systems and familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of golf is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and public relations skills are essential.
  • Ability to greet members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to navigate various locations on campus as needed.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
