Gelato Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled Gelato Attendant to join our team at jwsavannahjobs. As a Gelato Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to guests
• Take food and beverage orders and prepare drinks to Starbucks standards
• Prepare and serve food items
• Relay orders to the kitchen through the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Total bills and accept payment
• Execute all financial transactions according to departmental and company policy
• Maintain service and sanitation standards according to health code regulations
• Inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Maintain the daily operations of the cafe through the execution of daily side work
• Keep the cafe clean and organized at all times
• Attend all required training and department meetings

• High School diploma required
• Hospitality or customer service experience recommended
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and well organized under pressure
• Ability to prioritize and maintain multiple tables at a time
• Basic math skills and ability to make change
• Ability to respond promptly to customer needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
• Proficient in Micros POS system
• Adaptable to a changing work environment

The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience. Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, without the use of a private office. Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism & collaboration. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
