Responsibilities of the Dining Service Runner:

  • Warmly greet and engage with members in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Ensure the accuracy of ticket orders and deliver food promptly and correctly.
  • Maintain direct communication with chefs and servers to facilitate smooth service.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both tray and hand service.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the club's menus and offerings.
  • Anticipate member needs to enhance their dining experience.
  • Effectively address member concerns, showcasing excellent customer service skills.
  • Complete food safety training within the first month of employment.
  • Adhere to all food handling procedures and safety practices.
  • Be available to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Follow departmental uniform and grooming standards.
  • Comply with club policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit a willingness to assist fellow team members in their roles.
Minimum Qualifications for the Culinary Support Associate:
  • Previous experience in the food service sector is preferred.
  • Ability to uphold the club's service standards.
  • Capability to meet the physical demands of the role.
Physical Requirements for the Food Service Attendant:
  • Standing and/or walking for the entirety of the shift.
  • Lifting, carrying, or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds for a significant portion of the shift.
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching overhead for most of the shift.
  • Working outdoors, with the possibility of exposure to inclement weather during part of the shift.
