Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and operations, to optimize manufacturing processes and improve productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Conduct process simulations, time studies, and capacity analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize manufacturing methods.
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing tools, equipment, and processes to enhance quality and safety.
- Use statistical analysis and process control techniques to monitor and validate manufacturing process performance and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Train and mentor production operators on new tools, equipment, and processes to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Participate in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives to drive process optimization and cost reduction.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize the supply chain and improve quality and delivery performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering within the aviation & Aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in process simulation software, such as Arena, Matlab, or SIMUL8.
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations, such as AS9100 and ISO9001.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and process control techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project management and continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma.
- Proven track record of driving process optimization and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
