We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Richmond Behavioral Health Authority. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals in our women's residential treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assist clients with activities of daily living, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility and grounds to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting clients upon arrival and ensuring a smooth transition into treatment.
- Assist with laundry duties, meal delivery, and other tasks as needed to maintain a comfortable living environment.
- Monitor client job function assignments and provide support as required.
- Prepare and maintain clinical documentation, including progress notes and shift reports.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, or co-occurring disorders.
- Basic typing and computer skills, as well as the ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
