We are seeking an experienced Project Operations Manager to join our team in the Gulf States Region. This role will be responsible for coordinating safety, budgets, contracts, schedules, and trade contractors and supplier coordination for projects in our region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with experience in project coordination, budgeting, and scheduling. They will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, trade contractors, and suppliers.

The Project Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects in our region, working closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and identify potential issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects in the Gulf States Region.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  2. Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure project progress and identify potential issues.
  3. Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flows, and ensure timely and quality results throughout the project.
  4. Communicate effectively with project teams, trade contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
  5. Provide support to the project team, including preparing and reviewing project documents, and coordinating project meetings.
  6. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. 2+ years of experience in project coordination, budgeting, and scheduling, preferably with a commercial contractor.
  3. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Procore.
  5. Ability to travel to project work sites up to 70+ miles away.
  6. Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
  7. Strong analytical and logic skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of precision on detailed work.
  8. Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities simultaneously under time constraints.
