Job Summary:

The Texas Education Agency is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to support the operations and organization of key agency initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan projects, including data collection and monitoring progress
  • Communicate effectively with team members to maximize supports and processes
  • Develop innovative solutions to streamline work across projects
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing project deliverables
  • Support efforts related to employee engagement and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
  • At least 2 years of experience in strategy or implementation of large programs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively organize and complete multiple projects simultaneously

Working Conditions:

The Project Management Specialist will work a hybrid schedule with at least three in-person days each week. Flexible work location within the state of Texas may be considered for qualified candidates.
