Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Scheduling and Registration: Schedule appointments, register patients, and verify demographic and insurance information.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, their guarantors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Insurance Verification: Verify insurance eligibility and determine accurate up-front collection amounts.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Management: Verify diagnosis and procedural codes are entered into the EMR.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
