Job Overview

Foresight Intelligence is a rapidly growing data company that streamlines data and revolutionizes industries. We're seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team and help us achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and qualify sales leads, including cold calling and cultivating existing leads.
  • Manage expectations through routine and thorough contact and communication with prospects and customers.
  • Work with the sales team to add-on, upgrade, and renew existing customers.
  • Become a trusted partner with our sales, operations, and customer success teams.
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads and requests.
  • Develop new and existing sales leads.
  • Have a high level of comfort with software and technology.
  • Arrange virtual and face-to-face meetings to demonstrate Fleet Intelligence platform to prospects.
  • Listen to and understand each customer's needs to provide real, effective solutions.
  • Coordinate internal resources to broaden and deepen account relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Exceed KPIs for daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals for calls and appointments.
  • Develop customized collateral based on individual customer needs.
  • Maintain timely and accurate account documentation.
  • Participate in industry activities and tradeshows, which may require travel.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in sales/business development.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience selling software as a service (SAAS) and hardware is a plus.
  • Experience in heavy equipment or fleet management is a plus.
  • Ability to learn quickly and share knowledge.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.
  • Clear sense of integrity, work ethic, and interest in building strong relationships.
  • Strong phone and video chat presence and ability to lead conversations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records in the CRM.
  • Ability to carry out duties with limited supervision.
  • Experience working well within a team and inspiring team action.
  • Strong attention to detail with an orientation towards quality.
  • Maintains high standard of accountability and dependability.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
