POSITION SUMMARY:

The Residential Care Facilitator plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations within the residence. This position is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents. Key responsibilities include maintaining the property and its facilities, as well as overseeing the upkeep of vehicles and equipment. The Residential Care Facilitator reports directly to the Program Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor and document significant incidents.
  • Engage in staff meetings and relevant discussions.
  • Be available for on-call duties as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Provide support and direction to residents to ensure:
  1. The residence, vehicles, and equipment are secure and functioning properly.
  2. The rights of each resident are upheld.
Work an 8-hour shift with specific duties that may vary based on circumstances, documented in the employment agreement.Oversee cleaning tasks performed by residents.Complete any cleaning duties not fulfilled by residents.Afternoon Shift (3pm-11pm):
  1. Assist residents with meal planning, food preparation, housekeeping, personal care, laundry, and daily living activities.
  2. Organize and facilitate leisure, social, and daily living activities both in the residence and community, including transportation for residents.
Assume responsibility for residents unable to attend day programs due to illness or other reasons, ensuring coverage is arranged.ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
  • Meet deadlines and complete necessary documentation, including reports and logs.
  • Receive training from Real House, Inc.'s APN and fulfill the role of Medication Technician.
  • Night Shift (11pm-7am):

During this time, the House Manager will have access to appropriate sleeping accommodations.

Morning Shift (7am-3pm):

From 7am to 9am, assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, breakfast preparation, and cleanup.

From 9am to 3pm, the House Manager will be on-call but is not required to remain on-site, provided they communicate their availability.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED; one to two years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • If in recovery, a minimum of five to six years of sustained recovery is required.
  • Ability to collaborate well within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Professional telephone etiquette.
  • Must be at least 25 years old.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional standing and walking required.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Successful completion of a background check prior to employment.
