POSITION SUMMARY:The Residential Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing daily operations within the residence. This position is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents. Responsibilities encompass maintenance oversight and repair of the living environment, vehicles, and equipment. The Residential Care Coordinator reports directly to the Program Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Monitor and document significant incidents.
- Engage in staff meetings and relevant discussions.
- Be available for on-call duties as required.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
- Provide support and guidance to residents, ensuring:
- The safety and functionality of the house, appliances, vehicles, and equipment.
- The protection of the fundamental rights of each adult resident.
- Assist residents with meal planning, food preparation, housekeeping, personal care, laundry, and daily living activities.
- Organize and facilitate leisure, social, and daily living activities, including transportation for appointments and errands.
- Meet deadlines for necessary documentation, including reports and logs.
- Receive training from Real House, Inc.'s APN and fulfill duties as a Medication Technician.
During the morning hours, assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, breakfast preparation, and post-meal cleanup.
During the latter part of the shift, remain available for on-call duties while not necessarily present on-site.
QUALIFICATIONS:- High School diploma or GED; one to two years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- If in recovery, a minimum of five to six years of sustained recovery is required.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- Professional telephone etiquette.
- Minimum age requirement of 25 years.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional standing and walking may be required.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Successful completion of a background check prior to employment.
