Family Resource Center Host

As a vital member of our team, the Family Resource Center Host plays an essential role in welcoming families to our facility. This position is dedicated to ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere while providing crucial information about our services and community resources.

Job Summary:

The Family Resource Center Host is responsible for greeting families upon their arrival, assisting with the registration process, and offering support to enhance their experience. This role is integral in creating a comforting environment for families during their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome families with a friendly demeanor and provide guidance on the use of the facility.
  2. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed for guests utilizing the respite area.
  3. Deliver concierge services to enhance the comfort of families during their stay.
  4. Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information through our communication channels.
  5. Assist the Supervisor with departmental tasks and volunteer coordination.
  6. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  1. Proven experience in customer service is essential.
  2. Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  3. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar applications is required.

Education and Experience:

  1. High School Diploma is mandatory.
  2. No specific certifications are required.
  3. Preferred experience: 0 to 2 years in a relevant role.
  4. No supervisory experience is necessary.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position, requiring 16 hours per week, with shifts from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., including every other weekend and rotating weekdays.
