Business Development Manager

PHELPS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team. As a leader in the industry for 73 years, we are committed to excellence and innovation. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop relationships with existing clients, research new business opportunities, and lead a small team to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Service existing client base with exceptional customer service skills
- Research new business opportunities through B2B sales and marketing strategies
- Supervise team activity and results, providing guidance and support to ensure success
- Train and develop incoming team members on existing systems and processes
- Daily reporting of field activity using Salesforce-based CRM
- Daily focus on recruiting, training, and leadership development to drive sales growth
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with a passion for helping people and developing relationships
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Sales or customer service experience, with a self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
- Desire to be active in the community and contribute to the company's success
- Knowledge of CRMs, preferably Salesforce
- Driver's License and ability to work in the U.S. are required
- Must have a clean background and own transportation
- 45-day minimum evaluation period before advancement
