Business Development Manager

MITCH PHELPS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our organization to new heights. With 73 years of industry leadership, we're looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing relationships, leading teams, and driving business growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Service existing client base with exceptional customer service skills
- Research new business opportunities and identify potential partnerships
- Supervise team activity and results, providing guidance and support as needed
- Train and develop incoming team members on our systems and processes
- Daily reporting of field activity using our Salesforce-based CRM
- Daily focus on recruiting, training, and leadership development
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Passion for helping people and developing relationships
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Sales or customer service experience
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
- Desire to be active in the community
- Knowledge of CRMs (Salesforce preferred)
Licensing requirements include:
- Driver's License and ability to work in the U.S.
- Must have a clean background and own transportation
- 45-day minimum evaluation period before advancement
