Position Summary:
We are in search of a seasoned Tech Lead Manager to oversee our data sharing engineering team within the Privacy & Security group. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring responsible data practices and fulfilling privacy commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of backend engineers while collaborating with frontend and mobile teams to develop cutting-edge privacy infrastructure.
  • Oversee the design and functionality of privacy engineering frameworks and platforms.
  • Mentor and nurture team members to build a strong and effective team.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in privacy engineering and gather feedback to enhance solution efficiency and stability.
  • Collaborate with operations and business teams to resolve technical challenges across our product suite.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including product managers and data scientists.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing or leading a software engineering team.
  • Proficient in backend development with experience in distributed systems, databases, and APIs.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to solving technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, particularly in cross-functional settings.
  • Experience in an agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated mentorship capabilities.
  • Extensive experience in designing Internet product architectures.
  • Proven track record in developing large-scale distributed systems that prioritize performance and stability.
  • Experience in implementing privacy by design principles in backend systems.
  • Knowledge of data processing control solutions and data protection measures.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
