Global e-commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach. The supply chain is one of the core team of the global e-commerce business, who are responsible for the selection of goods, procurement, warehousing, inventory management and other business modules. Global e-commerce supply chain team aims to improve customer experience with warehouse & supply chain technology, empower the merchants to ease and expand their business worldwide with reliable and trustable fulfillment capabilities, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.

Supply Chain Inventory team utilizes inventory planning to ensure high quality fulfillment experience. It builds inventory placement engine to utilize inbound cross-dock, direct receipt, and other ways to distribute inventory accurately over supply chain network technology. Responsibilities:

  • Develop efficient, highly scalable and secured services to build/integrate Warehouse Management System(WMS) or supply chain system(inventory planning and control, seller service, etc) for domestic and global TikTok Shop E-commerce.
  • Optimize backend systems and services for data security, modularity, computational efficiency and scalability.
  • Deliver best-in-class engineering excellence practices across all product engineering disciplines.

Qualifications



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++.
  • Strong software programming capabilities, exhibits good code design and coding style.
  • Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security and highly scalable systems design.
  • In depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of warehouse management and/or supply chain technology is a big plus.

Job Information



The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $237500 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
