Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Resource Efficiency Manager at the designated military installation.
  • Provide energy expertise and support to various military facilities.
  • Design and execute energy conservation and resilience initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough energy audits to pinpoint savings opportunities.
  • Collaborate with facility management and engineering teams to enhance energy efficiency.
  • Deliver training and awareness programs focused on energy management.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing energy consumption and savings.
  • Ensure adherence to federal energy regulations and standards.
  • Maintain necessary certifications and security clearances.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in energy management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a relevant role.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy conservation techniques and management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with energy management software and tools.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, energy management, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced degree is preferred.

Certifications:

  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is preferred, or a commitment to obtain it within one year of employment (company will cover certification costs).

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen capable of passing a federal background check to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) issued common access card (CAC).
