About Our Team
DEPCOM's Project Delivery Organization specializes in executing comprehensive turnkey photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, including collection substations and generation transmission lines. We leverage strategic partnerships with key suppliers and subcontractors while coordinating with interconnection utilities nationwide. As part of the Koch family, we apply Principle Based Management to drive innovation, uphold the highest standards, and streamline processes to ensure successful project outcomes for our clients. As a leader, your role will include empowering your team members to reach their full potential.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage Electrical Subcontractors and their activities on utility-scale solar and battery storage project sites, implementing our Principle Based Management philosophy.
- Enhance processes and metrics that promote consistent actions and behaviors to optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Assist the team in understanding and adhering to DEPCOM's safety and quality standards while adhering to the construction timeline.
- Facilitate informed decision-making through knowledge sharing, constructive challenges, alternative evaluations, and clear decision-making authority.
- Monitor and manage schedule adherence, budget compliance, and contract obligations related to Electrical work.
- Develop and share a detailed three-week forecast for all electrical tasks on the project.
- Ensure that subcontractor work and site conditions align with project plans, specifications, and contractual agreements.
- Maintain daily reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experienced Electrical Journeyman in commercial or industrial sectors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Proven experience in managing subcontractors.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience in utility-scale solar projects.
- Certifications such as OSHA30, NFPA 70E, and CPR/First Aid.
