FEDITC - Federal IT Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Energy Management Specialist to join our team at Yuma Proving Grounds, AZ. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving energy conservation and efficiency initiatives that support the Warfighter and enhance operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement energy conservation and resiliency measures and projects to reduce energy consumption and costs.
- Conduct energy audits and analysis to identify opportunities for energy savings and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Collaborate with facility managers and engineering staff to promote energy efficiency and develop sustainable solutions.
- Provide training and awareness programs on energy management best practices to ensure a culture of sustainability within the organization.
- Prepare detailed reports on energy usage and savings to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with federal energy regulations and standards, and maintain applicable certifications and security authorizations.
- Strong background in energy management, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of energy conservation measures, energy audits, and energy management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate energy management strategies and results to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in energy management software and tools, with the ability to analyze and interpret energy data.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, energy management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree preferred, with a focus on energy management or a related field.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification, or equivalent experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a federal background investigation to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) issued common access card (CAC).
