Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Joint Use Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a geographic territory, region, location, or functional unit with a significant impact on corporate, business unit, or organizational objectives for Pacific Power and Rocky Mountain Power.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the functional group, leading projects and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and provide shared access to utility poles for third-party telecommunications providers.
  • Direct and coordinate the supportive services department, establishing and implementing business objectives, strategies, and plans to manage performance and ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency, analyzing internal processes and recommending procedural or policy changes to improve operations.
  • Oversee the construction of pole attachment projects, ensuring facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards and comply with government regulations.
  • Develop and implement departmental plans and budgets, providing expertise in requirements related to third-party usage of pole and tower assets.
  • Act as liaison between the ASC group and the Field Inspection Support group, developing and delivering training and communications for various teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • A minimum of three years of people or functional management experience.
  • Management skills, including the ability to establish objectives, execute policy, monitor resources, and manage the development or implementation of a system, program, or process.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills to provide input into policy decisions and to mobilize resources to produce desired business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate employees, using oral and written communication to deliver objectives and action plans.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree.
