About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Services Supervisor to join our team at Trillium Family Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities
  • Manage dietary services, including centralized menu planning and related purchasing, food preparation, and serving for clients, staff, and special events.
  • Oversee the day-to-day cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen and commons building.
  • Develop and implement effective systems for managing dietary services, ensuring high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience as a cook, with supervisory experience in the planning and preparation of meals for groups of 50 people or more.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand MSDS.
  • Valid Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Current driver's license for the state of residence and a driving record acceptable by the agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an active team participant with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
