About the Role

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Information and Digital Transformation Officer to lead its IT and digital planning efforts. Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, this key executive will be responsible for fostering innovation, prioritizing IT and digital initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the health enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead the information and digital vision, strategies, and growth plans within TCHHN
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure that supports the needs of the organization
  • Design, develop, and implement resources and roadmap, policies and procedures, and short and long-range objectives
  • Develop and maintain annual operating and capital budgets, which are consistent with the strategic, information management and financial plans of the enterprise
  • Negotiate, manage, evaluate, and modify IT contracts
  • Improve clinical, operations and financial performance of the organization
  • Provide leadership in the planning, design and technology enablement of new operating models
  • Develop, implement and evaluate back-up disaster recovery plans, and cyber recovery plans for HTM, information systems and telecommunications systems
  • Recruit, develop, retain, and organize IT staff
  • Establish standards of performance and CQI programs for the department
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have progressive IT leadership experience managing in a large team within an integrated healthcare delivery system. A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in information technology, business, or healthcare administration is highly preferred. At least fifteen years of progressively responsible IT experience, preferably within a health system, is required.

The candidate should have significant senior-level IT experience that includes strategic planning, project management, budgeting, security, process transformation and innovation in a complex environment. A proven track record of producing operational and financial results and building a strong team culture within IT organizations and creating a user-focused environment of customer service and collegial support is essential.

A strong business acumen with experience in transforming business models, negotiating contracts, and achieving financial results is required. Proven reputation for discretion, integrity, sound judgment, and responsiveness is also essential.
