Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-focused Regional Operations Manager to oversee our dynamic and rapidly expanding business. Operating under a decentralized model, this role emphasizes leadership and autonomy while ensuring effective communication across various functions and local operations.

Reporting directly to the President of the APG Metro Region, you will be tasked with leading and managing multiple manufacturing facilities within the designated region. Your responsibilities will encompass Safety, Quality, Productivity, Housekeeping, Preventative Maintenance, Regulatory Compliance, Talent Development, and the overall financial performance of your assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and align operations across multiple manufacturing sites to enhance Safety, Quality, Productivity, Housekeeping, and Preventative Maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop competent leadership teams at each location and facilitate their growth through employee development initiatives.
  • Lead project teams focused on customer solutions and capital improvements.
  • Research and implement best practices in manufacturing.
  • Translate annual and monthly goals into actionable metrics for each facility, holding team members accountable for achieving these objectives.
  • Direct production planning to optimize demand fulfillment at minimal cost while maintaining high service levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all sites.
  • Mentor Plant Managers to enhance efficiencies, manage costs, and maximize operational capabilities.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to achieve shared objectives.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of production and inventory metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, or a related technical field; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in Operations Management or related fields.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven success in P&L management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of maintaining effective relationships over time.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
