Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and results-focused Regional Operations Manager to lead our dynamic and rapidly expanding organization. Operating within a decentralized framework, this role demands effective communication and collaboration across various functions and local operations.

Reporting directly to the President of the APG Metro Region, you will oversee multiple manufacturing facilities within the designated area. Your responsibilities will encompass Safety, Quality, Productivity, Housekeeping, Preventative Maintenance, Regulatory Compliance, Talent Development, and the overall financial performance of your assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operations across assigned manufacturing locations to enhance Safety, Quality, Productivity, Housekeeping, and Preventative Maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and nurture competent leadership teams at each site through effective employee development initiatives.
  • Lead project teams focused on customer solutions and capital enhancements.
  • Research and apply manufacturing best practices to optimize operations.
  • Translate annual and monthly objectives into actionable metrics for each facility, holding team members accountable for performance.
  • Oversee production planning to align demand with cost-effective service levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Mentor Plant Managers to enhance efficiencies, manage costs, and maximize operational capabilities.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve collective operational goals.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of production metrics and inventory levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, or a related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in Operations Management or related fields.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven results in P&L management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to maintain relationships through changing circumstances.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in a collaborative team setting.
