Job Overview:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Project Engineer within the construction industry.
  • A valid driver's license issued in New York State.
  • Proficiency in software applications including MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of contract documents.
  • Oversee the processing, distribution, and assessment of submittals, RFIs, and project-related documentation.
  • Monitor project costs and timelines effectively.
  • Manage change order processes diligently.
  • Address and resolve project-related challenges.
  • Review and verify payment applications.
  • Participate in and document project meetings.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project logs.
  • Assist in the oversight of submittals.
  • Facilitate contract close-out procedures.
  • Perform additional construction site duties as required.
