• Provide strategic guidance to the Enterprise Visual Communications leadership team, ensuring cohesive efforts among creative professionals across the organization.

• Innovate and implement technologies, policies, and processes that enhance Visual Communications enterprise-wide.

• Manage fiscal planning and oversight, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of all initiatives and drive continuous enhancement.

• Maintain awareness of Space business strategies and key projects, integrating this knowledge into the Visual Communications team's efforts.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in communications or publications.

• Comprehensive knowledge of visual and digital media.

• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing a sizable team.

• Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a US TOP SECRET clearance.

• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership capabilities.

• Strong business and technological insight.

• Exceptional relationship-building skills.

• Experience in employee relations and engagement.

• Proven ability in customer service and people management.

Work Environment:

This position supports a flexible work arrangement, with a preference for candidates located near Lockheed Martin Space facilities. The role requires a blend of remote and in-office work as necessary.
