Job Summary

The Account Executive promotes the Security Solutions business unit, generating leads and turning those leads into sales success for existing buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, engineering, installation, and construction procedures. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of sales-related work experience and moderate related technical and financial expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under supervision, manages and grows assigned territory or group of accounts consisting of building owners, end-users, and property managers.
  • Achieves booking and gross margin goals.

Requirements
  • 1+ years of sales-related work experience
  • Understanding of HVAC, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, engineering, installation, and construction procedures
  • Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including upper management

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in engineering, business, or a similar field with 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Any credentials, including LEED GA/AP, CEM, FE, or PE
  • ASHRAE association
