We are on the lookout for a Customer Success Manager to join our Global Performance Team. This role will be pivotal in serving as the primary liaison for both existing and prospective performance advertisers aiming to leverage Outbrain's extensive network to enhance their business, particularly focusing on performance-driven clients across various sectors.

As a Customer Success Manager, you will embody expertise in Outbrain's platform and specialize in conversion-focused content marketing. Your role will involve collaborating with key clients to develop their native advertising strategies and drive their success.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients with performance-oriented KPIs, guiding them to achieve positive ROI through strategic advice, campaign setup, and performance monitoring.
  • Innovate and propose initiatives that enhance performance and support client scaling.
  • Conduct regular consultations with clients to assess performance, plans, and priorities.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for upselling.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new clients, including kickoff calls.
  • Educate clients on best practices and provide data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments, including Content, Product, and Account Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In your initial month, familiarize yourself with Outbrain products and establish key relationships, while beginning client communications and managing campaign planning, implementation, reporting, and optimization.
  • Within three months, become the daily contact for a global portfolio of clients, assisting them in achieving their KPIs and developing data-driven optimization strategies.
  • After six months, become an integral part of the team, significantly contributing to daily workflow management for your client accounts.
  • By the end of your first year, you will be a valued member of Outbrain, recognized for your expertise in content and performance marketing, supporting both your team and clients effectively.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in account management or a similar client-facing role within digital advertising, focusing on performance activities.
  • Experience with social/native/display ad platforms, agencies, or affiliate networks is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and identify performance trends.
  • Proficient in executing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced technological environment.
  • Excellent prioritization and time-management abilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A positive attitude and proactive approach to influence peers, colleagues, and clients positively.
  • A continuous desire to learn and adapt while maintaining focus on achieving results.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across different time zones and cultures is a plus.
