Director of Sales Strategy

At Inova Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales Strategy to lead our sales and marketing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that drives business growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives and goals
- Lead and facilitate the annual sales planning process to ensure alignment with customer requirements and timelines
- Own and drive the development and delivery of trade strategy and annual playbook
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop and sell-in annual customer plans
- Collaborate with category leadership and revenue growth management to develop effective go-to-market strategies and tactics
- Translate brand priorities into go-to-market strategies and KPIs that enable improved execution with customers
- Proactively conduct ongoing analysis and derive insights to evolve go-to-market strategies aligned to customer opportunities
- Identify and scorecard business risks, opportunities, and contingencies with sales and marketing teams
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of trade marketing, sales strategy, field sales, or similar discipline experience
- Leadership experience with a proven track record
- Outstanding communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Ability to develop objective point-of-view and be a strategic thought leader
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills and syndicated POS data tool expertise
