Job Overview

Next Generation Wireless (NGW) is seeking a seasoned Director of Sales to lead our retail sales team across multiple states. As a core value-driven organization, we prioritize positivity, excellence, growth, opportunity, community elevation, and teamwork.

This leadership role requires a motivated individual with a proven track record in driving sales, managing high-performing teams, and aligning business practices with our core values. The successful candidate will report directly to the CFO and be based in Cedar Falls, IA, with frequent travel to our retail locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the Area Sales Leader Team overseeing multiple retail locations across multiple states.
  • Operate with a high level of accountability to ensure organizational growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, making data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and execute training and development strategies for the sales and leadership team.
  • Analyze growth opportunities and effectively manage acquisitions and new store openings.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in senior sales leadership within the retail or wireless industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and drive organizational results.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (not required but is preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with wireless technology trends and products.
